The
wife of Raymond Robertson,
Mother
of Laura Ann (Robertson) Gordon and Raymond
Peter Robertson.
Grandmother to Kori-Anne Gordon, Calum Gordon and Lucas Robertson
Mother
in-law to Malcolm Gordon & Nicole (Bihel)
Robertson
Born
at Turriff Cottage hospital, baptised Ann
Wilson at St Congans Church, she started school at Turriff primary
school then on to Turriff Academy When Ann left school she moved to
Aberdeen and worked as a receptionist.
When Raymond & Ann were married , they moved to where Raymond
was stationed in the Armed Forces.
When Raymond's service came to an end they
returned to Scotland where they bought their
first house together, a year later they celebrated the arrival of their daughter
Laura Ann
Two years later when Raymond Peter was born this completed their family and they settled down to raising
them.
Like everyone it was a struggle for many years but it proved
a great experience raising children to become well adjust adults.
In
1990 Ann made a career decision, she went to college to take up business
studies, where she gained an HNC and an HND.
Ann decided to go on to Robert Gordon University.
Where
she worked very hard and at the age of thirty nine she received her
Bachelor of Arts .
The
day Ann was presented with her Degree made us the
Proudest family in the world.
Ann
was recruited by an oil related company as a Quality Assurance Manager.
Ann died in a Motor Car Accident on Mon' 28th April 1997. Her company said of her work "Within the eleven months
Ann worked for them she completed work which would normally have taken
more than 2 years, proving she was a great asset to them, it would
also be very hard to replace her".
We
all miss her very much.
I'm sure she would be very proud seeing her children coping with their
loss, and the progress they have made in their lives.
They
certainly make me a proud father, I don't know how I would manage
without them.
Ann treasured memories of you.
I was not there to see you die.
To hold your hand or say good-bye.
Every day I think of you.
And make no outward show.
What it means to lose you.
ALWAYS.
There will always be a face before me
A voice I long to hear
A smile I will always remember.
Of a wife I loved so dear
Deep are the memories
Precious they stay.
No length of time can take them away.
I love you more with each passing day.
Love Ray and kids.
